General Terms and Conditions

Welcome to our e-commerce dedicated to Parmigiano Reggiano. By using our website and services, you accept the following terms and conditions. We invite you to read these conditions carefully before making a purchase.

1. Definitions

  • Customer: Any natural or legal person who places an order on the seller’s site.
  • Products:  Items offered for sale on the seller’s site.
  • Website: The seller’s website www.caseificiosavoniero.it.

2. Scope of Application

These general conditions of sale apply to all sales of products concluded through the seller’s site. The seller reserves the right to change the terms and conditions at any time, with immediate effect from publication on the site.

3. Orders

3.1. Order Procedure
The customer can place orders directly via the site. After selecting the desired products and adding them to the cart, the customer will have to follow the checkout procedure to complete the purchase.

3.2. Acceptance of the Order
The order will be considered accepted by the seller upon confirmation of the order via email. The seller reserves the right to refuse an order for any reason.

4. Prices and Payments

4.1. Prices
All product prices are indicated in Euros and include applicable legal VAT. Prices do not include shipping costs, which will be calculated and added during the checkout process.

4.2. Payment Methods
Payment can be made via the following methods: bank transfer.

5. Shipping and Delivery

5.1. Shipping Terms
The seller ships the products to the address indicated by the customer during the checkout process. Delivery times vary depending on the destination and shipping method chosen.

5.2. Shipping Costs
Shipping costs will be clearly indicated during the checkout process and vary depending on the destination and weight of the package.

6. Right of Withdrawal

6.1. Exclusion of the Right of Withdrawal
In accordance with article 59 of the Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal is excluded for the supply of goods that risk deteriorating or expiring rapidly, such as perishable food products.

6.2. Withdrawal Terms for Non-Perishable Products
For non-perishable products, the customer has the right to withdraw from the contract without giving any reason within 14 days of receiving the products.

6.3. Withdrawal Procedure
To exercise the right of withdrawal for non-perishable products, the customer must inform the seller of his decision through an explicit declaration (e.g. letter sent by post, fax or email). The customer can use the standard withdrawal form, but it is not mandatory.

6.4. Effects of Withdrawal
In case of withdrawal for non-perishable products, the seller will refund all payments received, including delivery costs from the seller to the customer, within 14 days from the day on which it was informed of the customer’s decision to withdraw, provided that the material is returned intact in all its parts and with its original packaging. The refund will be made using the same payment method used by the customer for the initial transaction, unless otherwise expressly agreed with the customer; in any case, the customer will not have to bear any costs as a consequence of this reimbursement. The shipping cost of returning the goods remains the responsibility of the customer.

6.5. Return of Products
The customer is required to return non-perishable products without undue delay and in any case within 14 days from the day on which he communicated the withdrawal. The direct costs of returning the goods will be borne by the customer.

7. Guarantees and Complaints

7.1. Legal Guarantee of Conformity
The products sold are covered by the legal guarantee of conformity pursuant to articles. 128-135 of the Consumer Code.

7.2. Complaints
Any complaints can be forwarded to the seller’s customer service via email at info@caseificiosavoniero.it

8. Limitation of Liability

The seller will not be responsible for damages resulting from improper use of the purchased products or for damages caused by third parties. In no case will the seller’s liability exceed the amount paid by the customer for the product purchased.

9. Applicable Law and Competent Court

These general conditions are governed by Italian law. For any dispute relating to the interpretation, execution or termination of the contract between the seller and the customer, the Court of Modena will have exclusive jurisdiction.
